About
I am a career scientist in the Statistical Biophysics (BiEs) group at
IFLySiB, a research institute
jointly dependent from CONICET
(Argentina’s national research council) and the University of La
Plata, and staffed mainly by physicists. I
am also full professor at the Department of
physics of the same University (about
2km from IFLySiB), where I teach various undergraduate and graduate
courses.
My research interests include collective motion of biological groups, biological criticality, statistical field theory and renormalization, neuronal networks, and scientific computing in Julia.
